**Please Note:  This is an active petition that began October 27, 2013 and is open to all concerned citizens of Calgary.  The petition will be delivered to the Land and Asset Strategy Committee November 13, 2014 as a show of opposition to the sale of Public Parkland**
Dear Mayor Nenshi,
Re: Stop the sale of City Parkland in Cliff Bungalow adjacent to Mount Royal
The residents of Mount Royal, Cliff Bungalow and concerned Calgary residents, object to the sale of public parkland to a private citizen. 
Specifically, we strongly object to the sale of the public park directly east of 
638 Hillcrest Avenue SW.
There has not been a public process, public forum or any opportunity to express our objection.
 The lack of transparency puts our publically owned parklands in Calgary at risk of disappearing.
